Southeast RCAP receives a Community Services Block Grant administered by the Virginia Department of Social Services. With this Community Action funding, we are able to impact four key issues facing low-income rural areas in the state: water and wastewater needs, housing, community organization, and community economic development. During the program year, Southeast RCAP provides training and technical assistance to localities and agencies on community organization, needs assessments and planning with regard to water and wastewater problems and economic development.
